“Into the Woods” Timber Frame Gazebo for Sale SOLD!

The slender arch which helps to support and brace the ridge beam was the piece that gave start to the project. It came from a 6" diameter red oak in our forest which had managed to live 73 years beside its dominant, same-aged siblings which average 24"+ diameter. Foresters refer to such slow growing trees as "suppressed." The result for us is clear wood with more graining due to the many thin growth rings.
